Claudio Caixêta and Alessandra Alves
In one of my stays in Brazil I was introduced to this wonderful couple and
to their beautiful works of art full of indescribable figurative beauty.
Visiting one of their exhibitions, it called my attention, when I saw an
Indonesian ambassador buying their works.
As a matter of fact, as a Dutchman   knowing the Indonesian culture through
the relationship Holland-Indonesia, since their colonial times, it made my
curiosity and admiration for these artists only to grow.
Trying to bring more depth in my knowledge for them I came to know that not
only senators, governors, ministers in the Brazilian capital were their
clients and admirers but their works were in different countries .
Claudio Caixêta, born talented,   comes from the University of arts in
Goiânia-Brazil, which has   sent out already many artists on international
level, and his wife Alessandra , with her natural talent, was his pupil .
I have a profound love for arts, and thought it was time to introduce
this treasure to the old continent.
'There is such beauty in their work that it does not limit itself to a
figure, but surpasses   the world of lines making it alive before our very
eyes. Building concaves and convexities, through colours, lines and
textures. Without doubt, they make art richer, reflecting subtleness and tri
dimensionality of the figures, introducing shadows that exalts the figure.
On their canvas there are strong and expressive forms that comes out of a
ambiguous texture, where figures jumps out alive. In their work it is
possible to see the figure, weather in a human form or flowers, integrate
such to the texture with a shining light and even at times so translucid
that it composes transparent and subtle forms.
An artist does not want to limit himself to his time. He wants to fly high
to future generations to incrusted his work in points that will inspire the
world to a bigger love desire for life. This is what Claudio and
Alessandra have tried to do. Their art does not only birth in people
admiration, but a beauty perspective, greatness and aliveness life, that
there is in this mysterious universe around us, inspired by the greater and
better artist of all, who has been and shall always be, not only an artist
but besides that architect, constructor and even carpenter. His best piece
of art :' le primeur célébré et admirable', after had concluded it with
only a blow of breath ,it acquired life forever and this very life we do
find back in the works of these two fabulous artists.'
