Micron powders “Tomal” are high efficient diamonds for lapping, finishing, grinding different kinds of materials, such as jewels, semiprecious stones, hard alloys, stones, glass, ceramics etc.
According to our technology micron diamonds “Tomal“ very carefully sorted and sieved, have the uniform form of particles, wear resistance, and ideal distribution on the size and structure. The uniform quality does not vary at plenty and large consignments. The micron diamonds “Tomal” are widely applied in firms of USA and Europe and demonstrate not only high efficiency, but also maximum cleanliness of a surface after processing.

CHARACTERISTICS
1. Uniform sorting of particles
As it is visible on a illustration, diamond micro powders consist of regular intervals particles, the shape of which are provided by perfect control. Such diamond micro powders can provide high efficiency of processing and maximum cleanliness of a processable surface. The micron diamonds “Tomal” do not contain particles of the changeable form. It is provided with own unique technology “Tomal” from synthesis to classification.
2. Ideal distribution of particles on the sizes
Diamond micro powders “Tomal” are classified according to Russian, European or USA standards. The diamonds are classified and considered the most precisely pursuant to special raw. (See the table) This strict control diamond of micro powders guarantees maximum grinding effect, excepting unexpected trouble at application.
3. Uniformity and stability of quality
The uniformity and stability of quality diamond micro powders are result of careful manufacturing. The quality should be very important factor accordingly at manufacturing and sorting, which is observed from delivery to delivery. It should help to avoid unexpected troubles at application. Diamond micro powders ”Tomal" is quite precisely supervised during of all unique processes - from the synthesis to classification. It can guarantee to the consumers of micro powders to receive best application and efficiency of results at constant consumption of a complete number of diamonds in grinding, lapping and polishing.
DIAMOND MICRO POWDERS «TOMAL»

ACM - representative of diamond micro powders, which has many fine characteristics and excellent reputation. Is applied not only as purely powder and in diamond pastes, but also for manufacturing of diamond wheels on resin bond, used for dry grinding.

ACM Ni - Nickel coated micron diamond powder, is applied for wet grinding.

AC4 Ni56 (analog RVG-W) - is the most popular general-purpose diamond product for wet and dry grinding applications in resin bonded diamond wheels. AC4 (analog RVG) - is uncoated synthetic resin bond diamond. It is typically used for grinding heat sensitive materials or applications where power is limited. AC3 Ni56 (analog RVG-880) - is a premium diamond product designed specifically for wet grinding carbide and ceramic tooling where no steel is present.   AC4 Cu50 (analog RVG-D) - is a high-performance diamond product engineered for dry grinding “carbide only” workpieces.  AC4 Ni30 (analog RVG-W30) - is a superior diamond product engineered for general purpose dry grinding of workpieces ranging from “carbide only” to “carbide/steel”. AC6 Ni55 (analog CSG-II) - is a special-purpose diamond product recommended for carbide/steel grinding applications where more than 1/3 steel is present in the workpiece.
PROPERTIES / CHARACTERISTICS Synthetic diamond products for resin grinding are designed for different grinding requirements. The differences in diamond crystals and metal coatings result in significant differences in performance characteristics.
AC4 (analog RVG) - is a friable, irregular-shaped, uncoated diamond. The irregularity of the AC4 surface results in better crystal retention, while high friability enables controlled diamond micro fracturing, wheel self sharpening and free cutting action. AC4 Ni56 (analog RVG-W) - is AC4 diamond coated with a nickel base alloy to 56 weight percent. The nickel coating enhances crystal retention in the bond. It also reinforces the AC4 crystals to control most fracturing. The coated AC4 requires more power, but the “G-ratio” improvement is so great, AC4 Ni56 has become the most widely used product. AC4 Ni56 is known as the standard of the diamond wheel industry for grinding cemented carbides. AC4 Ni30 (analog RVG-W30) - is AC4 diamond coated with a nickel base alloy to 30 weight percent. AC4 Ni30 is an effective compromise between free cutting AC4 and longer life AC4 Ni56. The relatively free cutting characteristics of AC4 Ni30 offer the important advantage of minimising heat. This reduces the chances of burning carbide/steel workpieces.   AC4 Cu50 (analog RVG-D) - is AC4 diamond coated with copper to 50 weight percent. The copper coating increases the thermal conductivity of the wheel rim. This improves heat dissipation during grinding. The copper coating also improves the mechanical strength of the crystal and retention of the crystal in the bond. AC3 Ni56 (analog RVG-880) - is a specially grown diamond crystal, which is even more friable than AC4. It is coated with a nickel base alloy to 56 weight percent. The special AC3 Ni56 crystal offers freer cutting characteristics for longer life and lower power when wet grinding cemented carbide. AC6 Ni55 (analog CSG-II) - is a special diamond, which is tougher than AC4. It is coated with a nickel base alloy to 55 weight percent. This tougher crystal reduces wheel loading and minimises workplace burn when grinding work pieces where more than 1/3 steel is present in the work piece. AC6 - is a special uncoated diamond wich is tougher than AC4. Are used on metal bond wheels for machining hard alloys, ceramics and glass.
