DAY 2 - Depart hotel for full day tour to Xunantunich and the Belize Zoo, overnight Cayo area hotel. L/D
DAY 3 - Tour of the Mountain Pine Ridge with stops at the Rio On Pools and Rapids, the Rio Frio Cave and the Hidden Valley Falls (road condition permitting), return to Cayo area hotel. B/L/D
DAY 4 - Tour the Panti Maya Medicinal Trail, Macal River and the Cahal Pech Maya site enroute to Belize City for overnight accommodations. B/L
DAY 5 - Early flight to Dangriga, full day tour to Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Jaguar Preserve, visit the Garifuna Village of Hopkins, the sugar mill at Sittee River and the Maya Center, overnight at Dangriga hotel. L/D
DAY 6 - All day trip to South Water Caye for snorkelling, visiting the Frigate Bird Sanctuary at Man-O-War Caye, return for overnight accommodations. B/L/D
DAY 7 - Morning at leisure to allow stroll into nearby town of Dangriga to visit the local craft shops & small garifuna museum. Land transfer to Gales Point for lunch and River Boat transfer through the inland waterways to Belize City. B/L
DAY 8 - Full day tour to the Barrier Reef Islands for snorkelling, swimming, and/or relaxing on beach, overnight in Belize City. L
DAY 9 - Land transfer to the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport.

Belize: Highlands/Islands & Tikal (8 days / 7 nights) Guaranteed Departure - Monday
DAY 1 - Meet and Greet on arrival. 3:30pm transfer by our shuttle to your Cayo area hotel for check-in. Evening at leisure.
DAY 2 - 8:00am departure for full day of touring the Mt. Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, with stops made to explore Rio Frio Caves and time for a quick swim at the Rio On bathing pools. Head southwest to the famous Maya site of Caracol (Mayan for Snail). Picnic lunch while at Caracol. Walk the path of the Maya and discover some of their well kept secrets. After your tour, head back to your Cayo area lodge. Evening at leisure. (L)
DAY 3 - Morning pick-up and transfer overland to the border town of Belize's Benque Viejo and Guatemala's Melchor where you will go through Customs and continue on your way to your hotel in Flores, Peten. This trip with border crossings is about 2 hours. Afternoon free to relax, explore the area. O/N at Flores area hotel.
DAY 4 - Enjoy a full day tour of majestic Tikal (Mayan for Places of Voices) nestled in the dense jungles of Peten. This site has been extensively excavated and restored and is the most recognized of all Maya Ruins. Picnic lunch is served. Return to your hotel early evening. O/N Flores area hotel. (L)
DAY 5 - Morning transfer to Flores Int'l airport to connect with outbound flight to Belize Int'l Airport. You will clear Customs and transfer straight on to your flight to the quaint, charming seaside town of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. You will be met and transferred to your Hotel. Day at leisure to enjoy optional watersports or just bask in the sun. O/N Ambergris Caye
