ThermoFire Woodfired Water Tank Heater is engineered to heat up small
storage tanks or tubs. ThermoFire is installed next to the tank and the
water is heated as it flows from the tank, through the ThermoFire and back
to the tank. This circulation is achieved either by natural thermosiphon
convection or by using a circulating pump.
ThermoFire features HOTPRO. s TurboCone heat exchanger. The TurboCone is identical to AquaFire. s heat exchanger. The entire fire is surrounded by a thin jacket of water. Unlike the AquaFire which has 10 gallons of storage above the TurboCone, ThermoFire only holds 3 gallons. Because there is no storage area, the water that flows through the ThermoFire is rapidly heated. It then flows out and into the storage tank. The water continues to go around in a loop from the storage tank to the ThermoFire and back to the storage tank until the whole volume is heated to the desired temperature. When a tank is heated by thermosiphon, the circulation takes place as the hot water rises. As the hot water rises, cold water flows from the bottom of the storage tank and into the ThermoFire. Maximum efficiency, however is achieved using a small in-line circulating pump. Similar to AquaFire, ThermoFire burns small firewood and kindling. It is designed to heat water storage and conventional water heater tanks and hot tubs under 200 gallons. ThermoFire is also used to boost the water temperature in aquaculture, hydroponic and stock tanks. ThermoFire features with two each 1 1/2. hot and cold waterways for maximum flow rates through the heat exchanger. ThermoFire is powder-coated Ruby Red. |
