Tank Water Heater

Heat a hot tub, aquaculture, hydroponic or livestock tank.

A hot tub may be heated by thermosiphon or with a circulating pump. A gradual temperature rise is achieved on agri/aqua tanks using a circulating pump.


LongBurn is heating HOTPROs redwood hot tub using thermosiphon. This natural convection circulation allows heating the hot tub without using a circulating pump.

The cold water comes from the drain line of the hot tub to the lower cold inlet on the LongBurn. The hot returns to the tub from the hot outlet on the top of the LongBurn . Hot water enters the tub 8. below the low water line. 

The hydrojet pump and filter are installed separately on the other side of the tub.
