Woodfired Water Heaters

AquaFire Woodfired Water Heater provides all the domestic hot water for homes, cabins, camps, remote sites and expeditions.

AquaFire is installed indoors or outdoors as the sole source of hot water or with an existing conventional water heater. You are able to use either one or both water heaters.

AquaFire is a combination demand/storage water heater. The 10 gallon volume is delivered hot within 12 minutes. Then as long as the fire is stoked, AquaFire produces up to 2 gallons/minute of hot water. After the fire goes out, the 10 gallons stays hot for hours in the insulated tank.

AquaFire is fueled by small firewood, mill end scraps, cut up lumber, kindling, packaging waste, newspapers, pinecones, any solid fuel that will burn.

As a single source of hot water, you build a fire a few minutes before you need hot water. After the initial firing, continuous hot water is produced as long as hot water is needed. This performance exceeds the production of most conventional gas or electric water heaters.

Installation consists of connecting existing or new cold and hot water service lines to the AquaFire and connecting an existing or new woodstove chimney. The connection between the AquaFire and the ceiling or wall of the room is made with single or double wall all-fuel chimney. HOTPRO makes a special chimney kit for this purpose.

For venting through walls and ceiling, Class A multi-fuel chimney and support assemblies are used, available from your local stove shop or hardware store.

AquaFire is powder-coated in Navajo Tan with Deep Sea Green firebox door.
