The Castle at Olsztyn was built in the half of XIVth century to be a
fortress on the border between Malopolska (South Eastern part of Poland)
and Silesia. It was developed in the next century.
Damaged in 1656 in the war by the Swedes it felt into ruin.
Up today just fractions of the walls are retained. The ruins are situated
on the ridge of a high hill among lime rocks.
Adaptation example: durable ruins, its historical value and picturesque
situation the ruins may be a touristic show-place.

W nastepnym wieku podlegal rozbudowie. Po zniszczeniu przez Szwedow
w 1656 roku popadl w ruine. Do dnia dzisiejszego zachowaly sie jedynie
fragmenty murow. Obiekt polozony jest na grzbiecie wysokiego wzgorza wsrod
wapiennych skal.
Przyklad adaptacji: trwala ruina, ze wzgledu na wartosc historyczna
oraz malownicze polozenie obiekt moze byc wykorzystany do celow turystycznych.
Die Burg in Olsztyn wurde in der Hälfte des XIV Jahrhunderts als
ein Festung an der Grenze von Kleinpolen (Malopolska) und Schlesien (Slask)
errichtet. Im nächsten Jahrhundert wurde die Burg ausgebaut. Nach
dem sie 1656 von Schweden zerstört worden war, wurde sie zu einen
Ruine.
Bis heute sind nur Fragmente von Mauern erhalten geblieben. Das Objekt
ist auf dem Kamm eines hohen Hugels zwischen Kalkfelsen gelegen.
Adaptatationsmöglichkeit: Dauerruine.
Hinsichtlich des historischen Wertes sowie der malerischen Lage kann
Objekt fur touristische Zwecke genutzt werden.
