Castle at Raciborz is one of the oldest relics which survived up to the
present time in Silesia. It was erected on the turn of the XIIth and XIVth
century. Many times reconstructed it had undergone slowly destruction.
Since 3 years hard repairing work is done in the building. When the mentioned
work is finished the obtained effective area is 8OO m2 and space 4600 m3.
In future the castle may be used as a hotel or exclusive inn.

Zamek w Raciborzu nalezy do najstarszych zabytkow jakie zachowaly sie do
dnia dzisiejszego na terenie Slaska. Wybudowany zostal na przelomie XII/XIV
w. Wielokrotnie przebudowywany od XVIII ulegal powolnemu niszczeniu. Od
trzech lat prowadzone sa w budynku intensywne prace remontowe.Po zakonczeniu
w/w prac uzyskuje sie ok. 800 m2 powierzchni uzytkowej i ok. 4600 m3 kubatury.
W przyszlosci zamek moze byc wykorzystany na hotel lub ekskluzywny zajazd.
Beschreibung
Das Schloß in Raciborz gehört zu den ältesten, bis jetzt
im Gebiet Schlesiens erhaltenen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es wurde um die
Wende des XII. zum XIV. Jahrhundert errichtet und dann mehrmals umgebaut,
seit dem XVIII. Jahrhundert wurde es allmählich verwüstet. Seit
drei Jahren führt man im Gebäude intensive Instandsetzungsarbeiten,
nach deren Beendigung etwa 800 m2 Nutzungsflache und 4600 m3 Kubatur gewonnen
wird. Künftig kann das Schloß als ein Hotel beziehungsweise
als ein luxuriöser Gasthof fungieren.
